International Cooperation - Measure C

International Cooperation aimed at enhancing the environmental, historical and cultural interest in the Po Delta area with the creation and promotion of new tourist products (birdwatching, cycling tours, historical and cultural itineraries, environmental tourism for schools) and their promotion on the European market. Preferential partners for international cooperation are European LAGs operating in environmentally-interesting areas (wetlands, regional and national parks, protected areas, etc.), as well as Italian and European LAGs sharing historical – cultural routes, as the Pilgrim Route to Rome. DELTA 2000 participated in 5 international cooperation projects. In order to carry on 4 of these projects the partners resorted to the resources of Measure C of International Cooperation – LAP Leader II. 7 European countries have worked in partnership with DELTA 2000 (Italy, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Greece, France, Germany) and 9 LAGs are involved in the implementation of the projects.
The investment for the implementation of the actions envisaged by these 4 international projects was of 140.371,93  , 104.366,85   of which made up the public contribution and the rest were co-financed (Provincial Authority of Ferrara and Consortium of the Po Delta Park).
