Human Resources Education
This is a horizontal action including different interventions:
- refresher courses for experts, operators and partners of the LAG DELTA 2000;
- refresher, awareness-raising and promotional activities aimed at local operators in the sectors of tourism, agriculture and environment;
- guidelines for young unemployed aimed at their professional training and subsequent access to the local labour market;
- research activities to find new employment opportunities in potentially growing sectors.
In October 1998 the LAG launched a call for tender for training institutes to present training proposals in the field of agriculture. The aim was to improve the relationship between agriculture and the environment, agricultural landscape and environment, and to support tourist services and artisan services to tourism.
7 projects have been financed with a total contribution of   168.881,40. These training courses are meant for young unemployed or young people looking for their first job and aim at training new professional figures. They are also targeted at tour operators who want to update their knowledge and professional skills.
The Region Emilia-Romagna has allocated supplementary resources for training activities to the LAG DELTA 2000 - 198.582,17  . Subsequently DELTA 2000 has organised further training and refresher activities.
