Intervention 5.1 - Guidance actions 

Introduction of young unemployed in a new cooperative of farmhouses - Vocational training institute  
This action consisted in 50 hours distributed through the months from March to May 1999. It enabled 11 unemployed to acquire information and knowledge regarding tourist and environmental services. The aim was to encourage the participants to develop an entrepreneurial project to enrich the current offer of products and services or to participate in the activity of already existing enterprises in the Po Delta area. During the lessons the participants were provided with the basic knowledge for the management and organisation of a tourist enterprise. In the final 30 hours the participants worked in a workshop simulating the process for the setting up of an agency for cultural, tourist and environmental development.
