Intervention 5.1 - Refresher courses
Museum
operator skilled in management and promotion of the
Museum of the Roman Ship and other Museums- Project
managed by the LAG DELTA 2000
The courses lasted 350 hours and took place
between November 2000 and May 2001. It was aimed at
young unemployed with a high school diploma, with preference
for university students attending human science courses.
14 participants were chosen among the 90 applicants.
They attended lessons in history of the territory, analysis
of the demand for cultural heritage at local and national
level, creation of new enterprises in the cultural sector,
existing laws on cultural heritage, organisation and
management of museums, communication and promotion of
the cultural heritage. The participants were also taken
to visit museums in Ferrara, Ravenna, Rimini, Bologna
and Ostellato. A stage of 170 hours took place in museums
or service structures for research and support of the
cultural heritage. The course ended with an exam and
the consequent certificate assessing the newly acquired
skills. Of the 14 participants 5 are now employed in
the cultural sector.
