Intervention 5.2 - Refresher courses 

Promotion and exchange programme on the results of the EU Initiative Leader II for operators of the Southern part of the Province of Ferrara - Project managed by the LAG DELTA 2000  
DELTA 2000 organised three information actions on the results of the activities carried out in the framework of the EU initiative Leader II. The actions were aimed at economic operators and local public officials working in sectors linked with rural development (agriculture, environment and tourism). The first seminar, entitled "A comparison between leader experiences. Pilot projects for the enhancement of landscape and environment in the Po Delta and in the Höxter region", saw the presentation of projects for the enhancement of the landscape in the Po Delta, as well as projects for the restoration and recovery of rural villages and the creation of cycling routes in the Höxter region. 53 operators and public officials participated in this first seminar. The second public initiative took place on the occasion of the presentation of the "Manual for the enhancement of the rural landscape of the Po Delta", published by DELTA 2000 in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Ferrara and the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Bologna. The manual aims at defining intervention methods and techniques to architectural heritage and landscape. The seminar saw the participation of 94 operators and public officials. Another seminar will be organised once the EU initiative Leader II is completed. The aim will be to present the methods applied and the results of Leader II projects, as well as the presentation of the following Leader+.
