Tourism promotion projects
Tourist
packages, promotion and marketing – Travel Agency
The project consists in a well-structured plan for tourist
promotion and marketing, led by one travel agency and
involving other 7 enterprises working in the tourist
sector – hotels and restaurants. The project envisaged
first of all the drawing up of a joint catalogue of
the offers proposed by all the enterprises involved.
These offers have a common orientation towards environmental
tourism in the Po Delta Park and in the rural areas
of the region. The catalogue was first presented as
a cd-rom at specialised fairs in Northern and Central
Italy, then issued in 10,000 copies and distributed
in Italy and abroad according to a targeted mailing
list. Local events have also been organised, as wine-
and food-tasting evenings, targeted educational tours
and the distribution of gadgets to the customers of
the enterprises involved.
