The festival of eel and sea fish – Non profit association

The festival took place in the month of October 1999 on the occasion of an important gastronomic event called “The marshes on the table”. It enhanced the most outstanding products of Comacchio and the whole of the Po Delta. The event was co-financed for the expenses concerning the organisation of the area and the days devoted to food tasting and exhibitions, as well as for promotional initiatives. The choice of the time of the year turned out to be fundamental since it attracted a high number of tourists to the delta area in a season when tourism is traditionally slow.
