DELTA 2000 organises and carries out training and refresher courses and seminars to train local human resources in different fields of action.
It has carried out refresher courses for experts, animators and partners of the LAG DELTA 2000, as well as awareness-raising activities for local operators in the fields of tourism, agriculture and environment.
Delta 2000 has supported the cultural growth of local young people through the organisation of and cooperation in vocational training courses for young unemployed, to help them enter the local labour market or to favour cultural exchanges with other countries to enrich knowledge in fields as environment, tourism and culture.
Delta 2000 also supported research activities aimed at identifying new employment opportunities in potentially growing sectors.
Through different financial means, it has also started partnerships with local, national and international training centres and institutes.
The projects carried out by Delta 2000 could be divided as follows:

• Self-managed projects carried out by the LAG DELTA 2000 or by other beneficiaries of the EU initiative Leader II, Action 5 "Human Resources training"
• Projects carried out by DELTA 2000 in cooperation with local and/or foreign partners
• Studies and research
