DELTA 2000 promotes tourism
in the Delta area of the Emilia Romagna Region through
commercial actions aimed at an integration of the offer
on the territory. This strategy envisages the involvement
of all local public and private operators to identify
and enhance the most specific aspects of the region,
above all nature and environmental tourism, but also
culture, gastronomy, local products.
Calls for tender have been launched within the framework
of the EU Initiative Leader II, targeted at both private
tourist operators and public authorities, in order to
improve local services and the quality of the offer
in general.
In line with these goals DELTA 2000, through the implementation
of Objective 5b, Measure 2.3 - Promotion of Tourism,
and through Leader II, focuses on local promotion activities
based on the image of the territory and aimed at an
increased competitiveness. DELTA 2000 also offers technical
assistance in planning and implementing projects and
tourist promotion at local level.
